Matt Dunne – Director of Product Engineering
Matt is the Director of Product Engineering and a partner in Silver Bullet Technology, Inc. Matt oversees all day-to-day technical operations, with particular focus on customer and partner relationships, and maintaining Silver Bullet’s well earned reputation for world-class technical support.
Immediately prior to coming to Silver Bullet, Matt was on hiatus, indulging his passion for all things aviation and avionics. Prior to that, Matt held management and technology positions with FormMaker Software, now Docucorp International Inc., and Quality Micro Systems (QMS), now Konica Minolta.
Matt earned a B.S.C.S. Systems Science specialization, with a math minor, from the University of South Alabama. Throughout his career Matt has enjoyed developing software for diverse environments and platforms including DOS, Windows, OS/2, SunOS, Novell Netware, and embedded systems from bare-metal muti-processor co-mixed RISC/CISC assembly to full RTOS. Matt has extensive experience developing IP stack protocols including SLP, LPR / LPD, FTP, SNMP, DHCP / BOOTP, ICMP, ARP, AutoIP, and expertise with a variety of source configuration management methodologies and systems including CVS, RCS, SVN and ClearCase.
Outside of work Matt enjoys most anything outdoors. Matt is an FAA licensed pilot, currently working on a glider rating, a USPA master (D) licensed skydiver, and PADI certified open water scubadiver. Other interests include motocross, skiing, running and soccer. Matt also enjoys volunteering with his church’s wheelchair ramp construction ministry.
