In the fast-paced technological environment, maintenance coverage is crucial for software performance as external factors can break any code.
Maintenance allows for unlimited Ranger upgrades. These upgrades include new features support, bug fixes, and it guarantees compatibility after scanner updates, operating system updates, and other computer-related updates.
Maintenance also includes problem resolution from our technical support team to reduce application and scanner downtime. Our technical support crew works closely with software vendors and scanner manufacturers to ensure end-users have their scanner properly working with the application at all times. Our support team is known for its unique expertise, responsiveness, and ability to solve complex scanner-related issues.
Please note that, if maintenance is not renewed, the software vendor and its customers are locked with their current Ranger version and will not be allowed to upgrade it.
In the case of software malfunction or on any other occasion that may call for a Ranger version upgrade, the customer will be required to buy a new license for all the scanners in use. In the case of infraction, both parties (the software vendor and Ranger’s end-user) will be held responsible.
Obsolete Scanners: Please note that if the scanner model is no longer produced or supported by their manufacturers, the scanner is considered to be obsolete. Ranger licenses for these scanners are potentially available but can cost more than for current scanner models.
