IT Centrex chooses Silver Bullet’s Ranger® as its Check Scanning Portability Strategy

PENSACOLA, FL., April 6^th, 2017 –IT Centrex has selected Silver Bullet’s Ranger^®API as its portability strategy for the check truncation software products it provides to banks and financial institutions in the Ivory Coast.

IT Centrex has two portfolio products: NumeriScan Web v4.0, a scanning and clearing solution, and DigiBank ECM an electronic contents management solution, dedicated to both banking and insurance sectors. In order to improve our applications’ scanning module performance and adaptability, IT Centrex has chosen to integrate our products to Silver Bullet’s Ranger^® API. This allows IT Centrex to leverage the large panel of Ranger’s supported check scanners to our client’s needs, allowing them to shift to NumeriScan Web v4.0 or adopt it while keeping their existing scanners or to move to cheaper ones. Similarly, DigiBank ECM v1.0 aims to bring a solution to banking and insurance sectors as a lightweight, web-based solution that allows for document and check scanning and Ranger^® provides for the same level of adaptability.

Ranger^® is a software tool designed to allow item processing applications to run unchanged on a wide variety of check scanner types, including those manufactured by Burroughs, Canon, CTS, Cummins-Allison, Digital Check, Epson, MagTek, NCR, Panini, RDM, Seac Banche and Unisys. Software developers enjoy the benefits of a single check scanner interface and the freedom to mix and match check scanner types.
