BLM and Olivetti to ship Ranger with scanners sold in the USA

PENSACOLA, FL, January 9^th, 2014 – Silver Bullet Technology announced today that BLM Technology and Olivetti will ship Ranger with each Oliscan and each MB2 ADF scanner sold in the United States. 

Ranger is a universal check scanner interface that allows banks to “plug-and-play” new check scanners with their existing check scanning software.  The Oliscan A600 is the Olivetti color duplex scanner for bank tellers: a single device for scanning checks and A4 documents. The Oliscan A600 scans all documents, including rigid or laminated items, from the A4 format to the credit card format, including identity cards. It also reads check MICR codelines, OCR data and barcode. The integrated ADF module automatically introduces documents of different sizes, and detects introduction of two documents at the same time. The Oliscan A600 is one of the smallest and quietest scanners in its category, and can be placed horizontally or at an angle to optimize use of space at the teller counter. The revolutionary Olivetti MB-2 ADF is a new all-in-one product for bank front offices that is based upon the functionality of the Olivetti PR2+ financial printer with the addition an A4 scanner, a check reader and moreover allows the automatic multi-page documents feed thanks to the ADF. With its compact footprint and wide range of functions, the MB-2 ADF simplifies and speeds up bank teller operations.
