PENSACOLA, FL., January 5^th, 2017 –Smart Housing, LLC has selected Silver Bullet’s Ranger^® API as its portability strategy for the check truncation software products it provides to banks and financial institutions.

Professional landlords still process a majority of their rent roll payments through paper checks received in their on-site leasing offices.  Smart Housing has leveraged Silver Bullet’s Ranger^® software to quickly develop a check scanning module designed around posting payments to resident’s ledgers and streamline the in-office payments for residents while reducing the time it takes to deposit the checks they receive.

Ranger^® is a software tool designed to allow item processing applications to run unchanged on a wide variety of check scanner types, including those manufactured by Burroughs, Canon, CTS, Cummins-Allison, Digital Check, Epson, MagTek, NCR, Panini, RDM, Seac Banche and Unisys. Software developers enjoy the benefits of a single check scanner interface and the freedom to mix and match check scanner types.
