Latest features of check scanner designed for small and mid-sized users now available through Ranger API software
NORTHFIELD, Ill. – June 1st, 2009 – Digital Check (www.digitalcheck.com), a provider of desktop check scanners and remote deposit capture technology to the financial industry, announced that Pensacola, Fla.-based Silver Bullet Technology has now certified and supports the latest features and capabilities of Digital Check’s CheXpress CX30, a check scanner designed for low-volume users, with its Ranger API software solution.
After certifying the Digital Check CheXpress CX30 scanner in November 2008,Silver Bullet Technology supports the following new features that are compatiblewith its Ranger API software:
Dual reading of magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) as checks enter andexit the scanner allowing for dynamic adjustment of the signal to read evenlaser printed checks. Producing two image resolutions when necessary (200 dpi for U.S. check and 240dpi for Canadian checks) Scanning entering checks in grayscale and exiting checks in full color toprevent image problems associated with gel pens, intricate backgrounds, etc.
