Silver Bullet to Offer Free Image Quality Software

PENSACOLA, FL, August 17^th, 2004— Silver Bullet Technology, Inc., the leader in check scanning applications and development tools, announced that it will integrate Image Quality Assurance software into its Ranger product line. Silver Bullet IQA software will conform to and evolve with the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) and ANSI X9B standards. At present, 16 tests have been defined to measure the quality of check images.

This is why image quality at the point of capture is so important. The FSTC and ANSI standards will continue to evolve in the next year, and Silver Bullet IQA will evolve with these standards.”

Ranger is an industry standard software tool which allows item processing applications to run unchanged on a wide variety of transport types.
