PENSACOLA, FL., December 1st, 2005 –Silver Bullet Technology, a leader in check scanning applications and development tools, named Sonia Livingston as its new president. Livingston has been the chief operations officer for the company since 2003.
Livingston has more than 20 years experience in the technology industry, and prior to joining Silver Bullet she was vice president of operations at Wuestec, Inc., a supplier of medical devices to international and domestic markets. Under her leadership, the company increased product reliability by 89 percent while decreasing material cost by 42 percent. Livingston also served as a consultant at LivingstonGroup.com, specializing in strategic planning and business development and has worked with the Advanced Technology Group and the Center for Business and Economic Development.
An accomplished author and keynote speaker, Livingston co-authored three books and spoke at the 2001 Women of Influence conference. She has served on various business and technology committees throughout Alabama. Livingston received a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. She currently resides in Pensacola, Florida.
